I am a licensed medical family therapist and clinical supervisor serving children, youth, and families, in many capacities, for the past 20 years. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, I returned in 2011 to offer marriage and family therapy to the community which has given me so much. I founded Liberty Counseling and Consulting, LLC in 2013 because I wanted to create an environment that was safe and where my clients could feel free to address the challenges of life in an authentic and reaffirming setting. My practice primarily supports families coping with depression, anxiety, relational concerns, and trauma. I earned a doctorate in Medical Family Therapy from Saint Louis University, with special interest in maternal health experiences of African-American women, during pregnancy and postpartum. I have extensive clinical and field experience, coupled with a strong desire to help families create lasting change. Each session is tailored to the challenges facing my clients. I am licensed in Missouri and Illinois.
